Engage in the yogic process of self exploration through the human-horse relationship while in the depths of nature. Horses and nature have a magical way of exemplifying our awareness and presence, and help us to move into deeper contact and connection to the Self. Enjoy a trail ride into the forest, release tension and expand your capacity for being in the present with a gentle breath focused yoga practice in the grass, reflect on your experience via guided journaling, share in meaningful conversations over lunch with new friends, and ride back to the trailhead with an enlivened sense of being.
This will be an intimate experience in nature, as we are limiting the registration to 4 riders plus the 2 guides.
New to horses? No problem! The day will begin by getting acquainted with your horse, learning proper riding technique and cues, as well as discussing safety on the trail.
Expect to be in the saddle for roughly 3 hours total. A packed lunch will be provided. You will receive a packing/preparation list upon registration.
