sacred systems of ritual, reflection and release

LEELANAU, MICHIGAN

+

DENVER, COLORADO

Transformative private yoga, insightful workshops, teacher trainings, and adventure retreats.

Set aside expectations of a typically yoga practice and open yourself up to the exploration of the physical, emotional and mental landscapes of your being. Picture yourself in your home after it’s been deep cleaned and organized. You look around with a sense of peace and calm, you feel centered and present without distractions, a wave of relaxation washes over you and you take a deeply satisfying breath. Yoga is housekeeping for the body. The practice of organizing yourself in time and space so that you have a greater understanding of who, what, when and where you are at in your body, mind and spirit. In order to get to where we want to go in life, we have to understand ourselves where we are now. Never from a place of judgement. Always from a place of compassion and curiosity. Take the time to organize yourself.

Leda is an E-RYT 500 hour yoga teacher with over 15 years of consistent practice, study, and teachings in a wide range of yogic traditions and modalities. She teaches unique and unpredictably fun classes in studios, but finds the real magic is in the insightful and informative private yoga sessions. She also specializes in yoga teacher trainings, workshops, and mentorships for teachers looking to better SEE their students and understand theirwhy.’ Why should we do/teach certain poses? Why should we practice certain breathing techniques?

As a teacher, she prioritizes leaving her students with a deeper understanding of themselves and the practice. Ultimately the asanas, pranayama practices, and kriyas of yoga are tools, and a tool is only useful if you have it and understand how and when to use it. So that outside of the studio, the real practice comes into play when we utilize the benefits of yoga to help us aid in the sometimes dizzying madness of being a human being.

Leda is driven by her passion of helping others understand that at their essence, they are Nature, and Nature always seeks to return to a state of harmony and balance. Inspired by the beautiful landscapes that she calls home, Leda splits her time between the of the yin-like watery paradise Leelanau County, MI and the yang-like stunning mountains of Colorado.

If your interested in practicing with Leda, whether in studio, in private, online or as a mentee please reach out!
